For more than 50 years, the La Jolla Newcomers Club has been helping new residents get acquainted with their new community and their neighbors. The Club is open to anyone, couples and single men and women, who moves to 92037, the La Jolla zip code.

The Club began as a social offshoot of La Jolla Welcome Wagon, before growing into an independent, non-profit organization. We have about 390 members who actively volunteer their leadership and knowledge to sponsor some two dozen interest groups, which are the backbone of the Club. These groups range from games and outings to wine tasting, gourmet dining and discussion of books, art and movies.

From September through June, the La Jolla Newcomers Club's monthly membership meeting is held the second Wednesday of the month at one of our local restaurants, and a program is presented. Our Board meetings - which are open to all - take place August through June on the first Thursday of the month, at the Mount La Jolla Clubhouse.

As a member-run organization, La Jolla Newcomers Club is constantly evolving to meet the needs of all. Join us, enjoy the social activities and interest groups we offer, make new friends, and add your own special contribution to the mix!
